Job Summary:
The Retail Environmental Health and Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with all environmental health and safety regulations and practices within our retail locations. Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement comprehensive environmental health and safety policies and procedures for retail operations.
2. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations.
3. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of retail locations to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
4. Collaborate with retail store managers to assess and address safety concerns and implement corrective actions.
5. Develop and deliver effective training programs on topics such as safety protocols, emergency preparedness, hazard communication, and accident prevention.
6. Oversee the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and provide recommendations for preventive measures.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety incidents, training, inspections, and compliance.
8. Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate risks and hazards in the retail environment.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to environmental health and safety.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience (3+ years) as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager in a retail or similar industry.
3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local environmental health and safety regulations.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and assess potential risks and develop appropriate solutions.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
6. Ability to develop and deliver engaging training programs on safety-related topics.
